The fireworks are all Cat 2 8m suitable for many back gardens, and crackling pearls is now a more sensible Cat 2 8m from the ridiculous Cat 3 25m rating it was originally issued with;also a new twist on crackling pearls as well, its now stapled to it's container so you affix the cardboard case to a post.

The happiness fireworks squeal with a flurry of crackles NOT produce showers of sparks despite being labelled as a Cat2 FOUNTAIN!!!

There are only 2 Herald fountains after that, the rest are a mix of cakes, single shotters, mines, and a 100shot roman candle barrage of colour stars, small whistling rockets and colour changing pinwheels.

A good value selection 5/5.

nb the contents in the box do NOT correspond with the contents pic on the bottom.

And the single shotters and three of the fountains dont need securing;just place on a level surface ie wooden board light and enjoy. The barrage comes with its own plastic base that inserts into the bottom. The three hot shot mines can be placed on a level surface too-they're bottom heavy. ;)

Didn't know that info
That stuff does make this a good box for 'average joe' though, nice and easy to set up, and not that expensive either

Yeah happiness fountainx2 and killer bees fountain and the five singleshotters have a plastic base on the bottom so no staking or securing is required, just a level flat surface will do for these.

The roman candle barrage just stands in it's plastic base on a flat level surface;again NO staking/securing required.

The three hot shot mines will also be fine on a flat level surface. A flat concrete base or a flat wooden board will usually suffice for these items-DO NOT plonk the single shotters or hot shot mines on grass or uneven ground though, they WILL tip.

Yeah, we use a piece of chipboard as a level base for free-standing items
and cakes as well as they sit on the board with the stakes in the ground next to the board. We've had a couple of cakes that have misfired on softer ground so we use something more solid now
