Here is my rocket rack after stage one. Just a few things left to do.

The main frame is made of ply
The top frame is made of salvaged steel so that it is fire resistant.
The feet at the bottom will be attached on a pivot so fold away. They also have holes at the end so that the whole rack can be staked into the ground if required.

Further photos will be added on completion including more detailed shots.

The metal work was cut to size using a grinder and the smoothed out using a deburring tool.

All materials were salvaged bar the screws etc.

The finished product! Very pleased with it. Holds up to 10 small to medium rockets and 3 large roxkets.

Is capable of holding 10 small to medium rockets plus 3 large. The middle shelf had upper and lower flaps which can be opened independently of one another to accommodate any size and the Three tubes in themiddle house the larger beasts. Top support is made from steel so it's fire proof. The feet are on pivots so can be pushed in and out for easy storage and have Anchor holes in the ends to push tent hooks in for added stability

the supports on mine are made of steel so don't have that problem. only the paintwork suffers

Yeah, your design is a lot better than mine, the motor/fuse of the rocket rests on the top of the tubes on mine.

I've just dismantled two pop up wardrobes, with some very decent lengths of wood, so i'm gunna try make another one out of all that :)
