This was my small outside decorating, well if you wish to get technical it was window lights:

This year i am hoping to put lights on the drain and a few in garden. What is everyone else doing this year?

we always go quite big on the outside lights, theres a guy over the road and we always try to have better lights than his, and we've succeeded for the last few years

It takes a bit of time, when we first moved here we only had some icicles for the gutter, but we had more last year than ever.
We live in a neighbourhood with a lot of old people and now they all say how nice they are, but to start with they were not overly pleased about it ;)

On our street we have a fair few elderly people. But when we have lights up on window we have an audience. majority of the houses around here go full belt with the deco lights. it just would be nice to look the part this year.

Do you tend to decorate the garden with the scrub netting lights or do you leave it out?

we don't really have any plants in the front garden to put the netting on, what we do have is a christmas tree in the corner, but we just decorate that with string lights

Sounds good, i plan ours a good month in advance, it helps that i can remember what we had last year, which the rest of the family can't

Ive already got ours planned out!

We always decorate the front garden with lights and we put lights along the fencing, gates etc at the front. This year though I managed to pick up quite a few cheap lights from the wilko sale so will have all of those to use too, also got one of those inflatable snowmen things really really cheap from the local Poundworld (was £5 not £1 tho lol) Im hoping its going to look really good this year :)

Day spent putting up all the decorations is probably one of my favourite things after bonfire night ha
