Chestnut Trading do not appear to have many new items this year although Morrison’s may very well receive exclusive and therefore non-advertised products as has happened in the past.

There was suggestion earlier in the year that they were reviewing whether to sell fireworks at all this year. Fingers crossed they do, tat or not at least it's another retailer selling. And i think this year will be a bumper year for it

Maybe that's because its the internet age, people want a good product for a good price. If you brought a sub par product would you go back and buy from them again?

I'm more interested if Waitrose sell fireworks.

Waitrose and Morrisons both sell fireworks from Chestnut Trading and therefore the quality is no different. Most people buying fireworks from a supermarket are frankly oblivious that better alternatives exist and therefore their fireworks are an easy purchase which requires little to no research.

I cant reply to this post as people will attack me and say I'm attacking a company.
This is a public forum so you're entitled to reply to any post you like but you really should be mindful of the fact that there's quite a few people on here who know what they're talking about when it comes to fireworks and the laws surrounding them (y)

I hope Morrisons sell the £100 kit again, it was quite comprehensive for a nice home display pack and had a good amount of stuff in it ;)

Is it locked in that morissons (and all the supermarkets) will be retaining the status quo this year with regards to suppliers or can we expect a surprise?

I'm starting to get impatient now for some literature to read from them for their offerings

Not necessarily, we've heard basically nothing thus far this year, but i would be surprised if there's any significant changes afoot

Here is a bit of a leaflet but it says New Year's Eve 2020 not Bonfire Night, I wonder if Morrisons is keeping the fireworks for New Year's Eve only because of the Coronavirus pandemic? I've sent Morrisons an email to enquire about this. Hope it's not just restricted to NYE only.

The product lines are much the same as last year so no real change. :)

Thats last year's nye leaflet any i do expect pretty much the same products tho
It's this year's leaflet btw because why would you put New Year's Eve 2020 on it?

My original train of thought still stands, as does my question, 'are the fireworks this year being restricted to NYE only because of the Covid19 pandemic ?' which i'am awaiting an answer from Morrisons on...as I've sent them an email about this.

It's a bit of a peculiar oddity, because why would you put New Year's Eve 2020 on this year's fireworks offering leaflet if you are (not) offering them for Bonfire Night this year? It sounds rather cockeyed and very odd to me!
