I'd say it's too early-you get it thrust in your face that much that you can't escape it, and come nearer the time you're so fed up with it altogether:(

In away i know why they do it. In these cases with trees, adverts are early is to boost there products, get there foot in first for the first profits. I don't think they realise the impact it has on people, the stress alone can send someone batty. The amount of rushing around you have to do to get present in, food and everything else is mental. So yeah it is because of Christmas is getting promoted too early.

october is very early to put up decorations, we started buying them then, but the earliest we've ever put them up is 1st dec
