We, finally, got our hand on the haunted Gargoyle from Costco UK.

Ordering and Delivery.

I am not going to complain too much, as we did have a very helpful customer service person who quickly handled our problem.

We basically, ordered this on the 16th of August, At the time of buying it did state, 7 days shipping.

As we checked this on the 22 of August, the system was not updating and it did keep saying still in process, I contact customer service, who did clarify there were some issues with their billing status and that it will be with us within the 3 working days on top of purchase.

It turned up the day after contacting Costco, via UPS delivery.

Packaging

The Gargoyle does have a bit of a weight to it, and unless you are Dwayne Johnson, you are going to need 2 people to lift him fully out of the box.

He is well packaged, Polystyrene was wedged between him and the box, and underneath him and above.

Getting him out was a fiddle, as mentioned above he was heavy and I didn't want to drop him. His wings are strapped to his body and covered in bubble wrap to prevent any damage.

Fixing

If you do buy him, you will find a bag with the screw nuts on top of the Polystyrene above soon as the box is open.

You will find a hole at the back of his head, you can fit your entire hand in there, the wings have 2 fixed long bolts that fit through holes on the side of his head.

You are given 2 in total wings and 4 wing nuts and are screwed on through the hole in his head.

I will advise being careful not to knock the wires leading from the facing wall, and also watch out for the water seal around the massive hole as it can become very loose.

The battery compartment can be found at the back near the bottom and takes 4 triple A. All the settings for him can be found on the battery lid, volume, and settings, including the timer.

Final Thoughts

We are impressed with him, although his recording is repeated through out the sensor movement. his face and mouth light up as you have seen in the videos.

Yes, he is simple, but overall we will use him now and have him on the main focus point.

He was purchased at £99.99. So, yes slightly pricey but he is worth it for the effect he will bring.

He looks wonderful, sad though that I'll never be able to spare that kind of cash on just one item though. :(

yeah, he is very expensive. But, we see as we will be using for a good few years, so he is worth the purchase if you can save for it.

Sadly apart from not being able to justify spending that amount on one item, for me there's the whole storage issue. I have so much Halloween crap I've collected over the years I'd nowhere to store it anymore.
