Okay so to get the ball rolling I attended the 'spooky Halloween' fireworks at Christchurch park in Ipswich last night. Now billed as the biggest annual display in east Anglia it is now in its 44th year. Originally started in 1972 when 6000 people paid 15p per adult and 5p per child to watch a display of £100 of fireworks purchased from a store in the town. This years display was fired by Alchemy fireworks and as you will see in the video they were rather hampered by a very calm and still evening..... The smoke would not clear!! we left the park about half an hour or so after they'd finished and the smoke still lingered.
