Haven't personally, but don't think there worth it just like a crackling fountain. Go to France or somewhere and try some firecrackers, no comparison

had one for the countdown for NYE it looks like a burning snake has slithered across the lawn now and it's just like a moving fountain that climbs up a pole at the end. it was chucked in for free so I didn't complain.
