Thousands of spectators of all ages are expected to gather in Bught Park on 5th November to enjoy one of the most popular events of the Inverness Winter Festival.
Featuring one of the largest bonfires constructed anywhere in the UK; the spectacular annual Inverness Fireworks Display is one of the most popular events in the Highland Capital. Sponsored by the Inverness Common Good Fund, this free event on the banks of the River Ness regularly attracts crowds of between 10,000 and 15,000.
The entertainment starts at 7pm around the bonfire features Fire Twirlers and a Pipe and Drums Band before a winner is chosen from all the guys submitted by the Primary Schools of Inverness at 19.25. The bonfire is lit at 19:30 and the fireworks starts at approximately 19:50.
Spectators are asked to note that there is disabled parking only at the site and that they should allow themselves time to park well away from the site. Spectators are also asked to refrain from bringing sparklers to the site which will return to being playing fields the following day because discarded sparklers can cause injury. This event is being staged as part of the Homecoming Scotland 2014 programme.

A fantastic family show, the Inverness Fireworks at Bught Park is always packed, so make sure you get there in good time. In addition to the fireworks and bonfire which will light up the skies over Bught Park, there will be plenty of live entertainment, a funfair and variety of refreshments
