Since I have no actual firework shops anywhere near me, I've got to do with the local supermarkets.
I'm just wondering which if any are the best value rockets this year, from what I've gathered so far it's probably going to be the Galileo Rockets from Lidl, but more suggestions are welcome.

Sorry if I've made this in the wrong section, feel free to move it.

Carlisle, I think the closest place is probably Epic, (around 150 miles) and since I'm only after 1 pack it makes no sense to travel.

Think this is where the supermarkets need to up their game as rockets usually poor,I have last year's Lidl ones and I'll probably pick up these Galileo ones as well as look about elsewhere.

I agree, most are poor for their price really.
But once again, lidl have picked out some that are actually ok for the price, galileo for me :)

There is Astounded Fireworks in Lancaster also 123, google maps saying 67 miles, a bit far for only one pack, but remember them for next year, seem reasonably good vfm :)

Cheers, I completely forgot about them, Yeah I'll have to have a look next year.

The Thunder rockets do seem pretty loud for their size, just seen the vid for them (also the webpage said they were cat3 not 2?)
But anyway if I was going to spend £30 on some rockets I'd try and join the War Hawks club :D

you can get the thunder rockets for £19.99 on galactic fireworks, which is a good price.

If I was you I'd buy shot tubes from supermarkets such as plasmic lights or deep strike rather than rockets

i agree pompey, supermarket shot tubes are actually good, ones like the plasmic lights, deep space 4, even the ones at homebase, are all great, and louder and larger than rockets
