Are these any good?

Went past a pyro shop yesterday and saw their promo offer at the front. A box of 36 for 30 quid.

Mostly wondering if that's a good deal because if it is, it might be worth me popping in to see what else they have on offer.

I saw a few signs saying that stock men shun.

Cheers

Edit: from the glance I had, these were:

Cheers Gaz. I must have edited at same time.

Seems like the 1's that sell for about a quid each rocket, if that in supermarket rocket packs?

Seems an ok price, if you want a selection of rockets like that, less than £1 each.

£30 is well below the usual half RRP as well, might be worth a browse to see if it's all less than half price?

Could be a couple of bargains.

Unsure of the name. Had a few days away at gf's and we drove past what seemed to be a huge market meat van thing parked in a shopping complex. I'm sure they normally sell seasonal stuff (meat all year round, Xmas trees at Xmas, etc).

I was inclined to think man with a van job, but the stall is way too big and surely they wouldn't get away with it in such a busy shopping area?

Yeah I think it might be worth the mission to have a look. Will report back after on findings

as they're 1.4g they'll be fairly weak, but for under £1 a rocket they can't be too bad? i'd get them then fire them all at once :D

This is what I got..... 20 quid for Apollo box. 3 quid per pack of atomiser candles and 2 packs of sparklers that were from tescos on way back.

Apollo is rebadged bright star. Cost 20 quid. Lot of air but good for price. They had many other rrp 129.99 deals down to 35 quid but couldn't carry.

Apollo seems to be worth about 30 at tops.

Will do.

Seems to me like its a full of air box but 27 piece for 20 quid. Several 19 shot cakes included.

Tempted to go back tomorrow for a few more boxes of other pyro.

Will certainly film these when I launch them. Tonight will probably be all about the drone attacks

Damn. Yeah they were. Utter crap candles too. Must have been damp as the shots barely took off the ground.

As for the Apollo box. Never seen so much crap in my life. Not even worth the card packaging it came in. The 19 shot cakes were traffic light shots. Rockets were supermarket tat. Big cake sized boxes were all fountains (4 thin tubes in boxes filled with air).

Poor box with a max £10 value.

Good job I had a few drone attacks to light. Gf's neighbours had hawk rockets so my display was a shambles even by garden display standards.

Lesson learnt but I guess it was worth 26 quid total spend today to find out

No probs. I would say avoid anything men shun. Their whole selection box range was on that stall and it seems the whole lot is like that.
